Chapter 1: The only loser

Chapter 1  The only loser

///Wake up, you disgusting piss of shit! Wake up!!!.//

Ha Joon Kim's alarm rang out. Being the deep sleeper that he was, having an absurdly loud alarm was the only way he could get up from bed and not miss his morning shift.

"Come on, give me five more minutes." He said aggressively as he turned to the other side of the bed while covering himself even more.

And like a tidal wave it hit him-

"Holy crap!!! I'm on duty today!!!".

He jerked off from the bed and immediately headed towards the bathroom to freshen up for his day at  Risol Daniels.

19 years of age and the only thing Ha Joon had to show for himself was his 2.7 gpa from history class and a shit ton of manga and manhwa mythology stories.

He was the definition of "I don't need to try to be a hardcore failure".

One couldn't blame him, he was a loser who for some weird reason had an addiction to female gods. According to him, they were the embodiments of the perfect women.

Finally, he was prepared for the day, wearing his workplace uniform. He stood in front of the mirror, a fake smile on his face, his black hair and red eyes were probably the only good thing about his life.

"Just another day, Ha Joon, it's just another day." He repeatedly said to himself before heading out.

He made sure his apartment was locked, since he was living in a small place just around Sing city, he couldn't afford to let burglars violate his sweet abode, those were the only people that could ever bother him.

Or so he thought.

Just as he got to where he was supposed to board a bus to the next city. He caught the sight of a woman racing towards him.

The distress on her face was evident, and at first, it seemed like he was the only one who could see it, everyone else totally ignored and acted like they couldn't see her.

But then, the moment Ha Joon noticed the homeless looking man racing behind her with a knife, it all began to make sense. No one wanted to get stabbed after stepping in for a stranger - and so did Ha Joon.
